Julie and John would like to offer you a warm Yorkshire welcome to “The Downe Arms” in the historic town of Snaith.
We offer a variety of wines, fine ales and food to suit all tastes served in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We specialise in high quality home cooking using locally sourced produce and offer an extensive menu, including brunch and sandwiches from our board or a choice of our chef's specials. All meals are cooked to order and are freshly delivered to your table

Whether you are on business or looking for a short break away from home “The Downe Arms” can cater for all your needs. We have nine modern bedrooms (two with disabled access) located in our newly built hotel annex.

All rooms are en-suite and have TV, tea and coffee making facilities, wired internet connection and parking space directly outside.

The 215 mile long Trans Pennine trail passes through Snaith, why not call in and have a break from cycling or walking.

I was very impressed with the relaxed and calm atmosphere of this pub. It offers fantastic home cooked food which is second to none. It has also recently had a hotel built on the same site, so it makes it even more appealing . . .

Very good meals the food here is great. The staff are really good and John and Julie, the Land Lord and Lady are brilliant......

This is definitely a food pub and I haven't had a bad meal yet….
